Question) -
Why is the repair only temporary?

Answer).
When a tyre deflates and the vehicle is in motion then damage can be caused to the tyre as the vehicle slows down and eventually comes to rest. This is called "secondary" damage, whatever caused the puncture, e.g. a nail or screw made the "primary" damage. Sometimes side wall damage/weakening can be caused. We recommend that S.O.S. Tyre Sealant is used to seal the primary puncture and then the vehicle can be driven to a safe place (a Tyre supplier or to home) when a thorough inspection of all of the damage can be made.

Question) -
What speed can I travel after fitting S.O.S. TYre Sealant?

Answer) -
We suggest for safety reasons the vehicle is driven at slow speed
(between 40mph/64kph & 50mph/89kph maximum) as the tyre may have
suffered secondary damage (see answer above) and in that case will not be safe.
